TherhombododecahedralCNT@CoS/NiCo-LDHcompositeelectrodematerialwaspreparedbymechanicalstirringandetchingprecipitationmethod.TheelectrochemicaltestresultsshowthattheCNT@CoS/NiCo-LDH-100exhibitshighspecificcapacitanceof2794.6Fg-1at1Ag-1,whichissuperiortoothermaterialswiththeadditionofnickelsource.Whenthecurrentdensityincreasesto5Ag-1,thecapacitanceretentionis60.1%.Inthetwo-electrodesystem,thespecificcapacitanceofCNT@CoS/NiCo-LDH-100is114.1Fg-1(1Ag-1)andexcellentstabilitywith87%after1000cycles.Thedeviceexhibitsarelativelyhighenergydensityof35.64Whkg-1atapowerdensityof750Wkg-1,andevenatthehighpowerdensityof3750Wkg-1,theenergydensityofCNT@CoS/NiCo-LDHmaterialcanstillmaintain26.38Whkg-1.Hence,thesuperiorpseudocapacitiveperformanceofCNT@CoS/NiCo-LDHcanbeascribedtothesynergyamongthreematerialsaswellastheexcellentthree-dimensionalstructureobtainedbychangingamountofnickelsource.
