Abstract
High energy density nanocomposite materials are highly required in pulsed-power electronic devices. We fabricated flexible nanocomposite materials based on ultrafine ferroelectric nanoparticles. Barium titanate nanoparticles with an average particle size below 10 nm were obtained by a “TEG-sol” method. As the nanoparticles have a high dispersibility and very large specific surface area, the filling fraction can be very high in the nanocomposite. Moreover, the modified nanocomposite still has high mechanical properties as well as excellent dielectric properties. And the energy density of the nanocomposite can be significantly improved. This method provides an ideal filler materials for functional nanocomposite materials.
