Abstract
AbstractAs one of the most important parts of smart mine, the mine transportation should be a safe, efficient and unmanned intelligent system which integrating many advanced technologies such as intelligent driving, intelligent operation and unmanned vehicle. Firstly, this report will briefly review the parallel and crossover development between mine transportation equipments and urban transportation devices over the past years, and summarize the current status of mine transportation intelligent technologies. Then, some new intelligent driving technologies such as permanent magnet direct driving, explosion-proof hybrid driving, magnetic levitation driving, friction-magnetic composite braking and multi-motor collaborative control of mine transportation equipments will be introduced. What is more, some intelligent operation technologies including standardized loading and unloading, robot handling and inspection, digital twin remote control will also be introduced respectively. Finally, the research progress of unmanned driving technology in the field of coal mine transportation vehicle including trackless rubber-tyred vehicle, monorail crane and mining dump truck will be deeply discussed.

Prof. Dr. Jiusheng Bao is a full professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Mechatronic Engineering at China University of Mining and Technology. He also holds multiple academic positions such as: one of 22 intelligent transportation experts in the first batch of national coal mine intelligent experts, a member of the 5th China Coal Industry Technical Expert Committee in the field of Mine Auxiliary Transportation, a member of the Smart Mine Professional Committee of the China Automation Society, a senior expert of thousand people think-tank of Shanxi Coal Society, an editorial board member of Journal of Mechanical Engineering Research, a youth editorial board member of Journal of China Coal Society, etc. He has been selected into 4 provincial talent plans including ‘333 Talent Project’ and ‘Six Talent Peaks’ in Jiangsu Province. Prof. Bao’s research interest is mainly focused on mine transportation equipment and its intelligent technology. He has presided over more than 30 scientific research projects, published over 100 academic papers and 90 invention patents, and won 10 provincial and ministerial level S&T awards in these related fields. Besides, he has published 4 books including ‘Mining Transportation Technology and Equipment’, and participated in the compilation of several national standards such as ‘GB 50431 Belt Conveyor Engineering Technical Standard’ and ‘China Encyclopedia of Mining Machinery’, etc. Presently, Prof. Bao has achieved a certain academic influence in the field of intelligent coal mine equipment. He has been interviewed by CCTV and magazines as an industry expert for several times. As a guest editor, he has organized the first special issue of ‘Intelligent Coal Mining Technology’ both in Journal of China Coal Society and international journal Energies. Furthermore, he has been invited to give over 30 speeches on the topic of ‘Intelligent Coal Mine’ at many important academic meetings and special training courses.
